The Association of Rural Country Tourism in Campos is a non-profit organization which unites 14 tourist lodgings (between farmhouses and rural hotels) in the municipality of Campos, located in the south of Majorca, in the region of Migjorn. The Association of Rural Country Tourism in Campos seeks to be a reference in the field of rural tourism in Majorca with the aim of giving value to all of its associates, defending, promoting and protecting their interests. This includes their associates as well as other external organizations relating to management and regional, national and international advertisement.
The main aim of the association is to develop a promotional project and a place of value in Campos as a leading tourist destination in the island of Majorca. The extensive range of lodgings and variety of offers adapted to all types of needs as well as the natural and cultural resources offered by this municipality makes it an ideal destination to enjoy a rural holiday in Majorca. Covering an area of 148 square kilometres, Campos houses a rich rural and ethnographic heritage, culminating with 9 square kilometres of coast, with the towns of Ses Covetes and Sa Rápita.
A rich cultural and historical legacy is tangible in many areas of the municipality. Campos was founded in the early fourteenth century, originating from the Ordinations of Jaime II of Majorca, when the main towns of the island were established.
