If rural tourism means to enjoy a relaxing holiday in touch with nature, with the best rural aspects of the territory and its agricultural and farming traditions, Son Sala is the perfect choice. Situated on the Llucmajor road to Campos, barely three kilometres from the historic center of town, this farm hotel in Majorca is a typical agriculture-livestock farm in the south of the island. White Majorcan sheep, a local breed, together with other farm animals, are combined with an organic garden to provide natural products for rural culinary tourism.

Close, hospitable and family run, one of the main points of Son Sala is its cultural and ethnographic value. The estate is an old Majorcan possessió, founded in the XIV century. A possessió is the type of rural community typical of Majorca in the past, which managed large areas of land self-sufficiently. The architectural complex dates back to 1357 and its historic legend is visible in many of its rooms. The current dining room used to be the old stables, which have been restructured to create a cosy and charming space with a terrace where it is possible to sample the best local gastronomy in a magical atmosphere.
Son Sala has four double rooms with terrace, equipped with all of the amenities to have an unforgettable rural vacation in Majorca, very close to many of the best beaches of the island. The total estate has large areas of land and of native Mediterranean forests where it is possible to disconnect and enjoy relaxing walks. A suggestion? A pleasant conversation with the owners of Son Sala is a unique opportunity of immersion in authentic, rural, Majorcan identity, while staying in a very charming farm house.
